The Canadian Animal Health Surveillance System (CAHSS) is an initiative of Animal Health Canada through the broad-based collaborative support of industry and governments.
NFACC is a uniquely Canadian organization of diverse partners including animal agriculture industry groups, animal welfare advocates, governments, scientists, veterinarians and the food industry.
Through its Emergency Management Division, AHC is working to improve the readiness of Canada to react to animal health emergencies by facilitating the co-creation of shared plans for FPT- governments and industry that contemplate the flow of information, and respective roles and responsibilities to support coordinated actions by all stakeholders in a disease outbreak.
