Animal Health Canada’s Emergency Management division in conjunction with Assiniboine Community College and Squeal on Pigs Manitoba/Manitoba Pork invites you to the Canadian Wild Pig Summit.
When: Monday, April 22 through Wednesday, April 24, 2024
Where: Brandon, Manitoba
- April 22: An evening reception to welcome participants will be held at Assiniboine Community College, Len Evans Centre for Trades and Technology – 1035 1st Street North, Brandon Manitoba, 6pm
- April 23: A full day of presentations and discussions will be held at the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, Display Building No. ll – The Dome, 8:30am
- April 24: A field trip to Spruce Woods Provincial Park will allow participants to see traps and trapping tools on display and tour through wild pig habitat. The tour will depart from and return to the Dome, 8:00 am.
This meeting will be offered in English. Participation will be in person with some speakers joining virtually.
