Registration Now Open: Canadian Wild Pig Summit 2026 | Oct. 27–28

Wild pigs are a shared challenge that requires collective knowledge, strong connections, and coordinated action.

Registration is now open for the Canadian Wild Pig Summit 2026, taking place October 27–28 in Brandon, Manitoba, with a virtual participation option.

Hosted by Animal Health Canada, Squeal on Pigs Manitoba, and Manitoba Pork, and Assiniboine College, the Summit will bring together partners from across Canada to exchange knowledge, learn from provincial experiences and strengthen our collective approach to wild pig management.

Topics will include disease surveillance, measuring success, provincial programs, lessons learned and will include panel discussions and opportunities for collaboration.

Tentative Schedule
• Tuesday, October 27: Full day of sessions, followed by an evening reception
• Wednesday, October 28: Half day of sessions

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

You may participate in person in Brandon, MB, or virtually.

Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 18, 2026

For in-person participants, refreshments and lunch will be provided and preferred-rate hotel information will follow. Virtual participants will receive a meeting link closer to the Summit.

More information is coming soon, including the detailed agenda, venue and hotel information, field activity details and virtual participation instructions.
