National Volunteer Week 2025 runs from April 27 to May 3, 2025. The theme is Volunteers Make Waves. It is an opportunity for us to highlight the power and impact our members and partners have on the work we undertake within Animal Health Canada (AHC). Thanks to the expertise in committees, working groups and sub-working groups across our divisions, we see the waves of progress being made to advance the animal health and welfare in Canada.

World Veterinary Day is April 26, 2025 with the theme "Animal health takes a team" to highlight the field's collaborative nature. Having veterinarians around the table to collaborate with governments and livestock industries, together we can effectively plan and prepare for foreign animal diseases, share information on emerging animal diseases and discuss the care and handling of farm animals.
