Strengthening connections at the 2025 Banff Pork Seminar

Animal Health Canada's Emergency Management division participated in the 2025 Banff Pork Seminar, held from January 7 to 9 in Banff, Alberta. The division showcased its initiatives at an exhibition booth, featuring materials on Emergency Management and the CanSpotASF program and engaged with veterinarians, producers, researchers, and other industry stakeholders. The seminar included engaging presentations and breakout sessions covering diverse topics such as swine health, pig survivability, grow-finish, sow management, and feed and nutrition. Animal Health Canada sponsored the Welfare & Health - A Veterinarian’s Perspective session, which offered a veterinarian’s perspective on improving welfare in the swine industry.
