AHC Announces New Leadership Team Coordinator

May 2026 — Animal Health Canada (AHC) is pleased to welcome Tia Landry as its new Leadership Team Coordinator.

Tia brings nearly a decade of experience in the swine industry, combining a strong corporate background with practical, on-farm expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Manitoba and is a designated Professional Agrologist (P.Ag).

Throughout her career, Tia has worked across the pork production sector, supporting animal health and welfare through hands-on engagement, training, and applied management practices. Her experience bridges strategic program development and day-to-day operations, enabling her to translate industry standards into practical, actionable outcomes on farm.

In addition to her work in swine production, Tia has experience with a diverse range of species, including wildlife, zoo animals, and other livestock sectors. This multidisciplinary background has strengthened her understanding of animal health systems and reinforced a One Health perspective in her work.

In her role with Animal Health Canada, Tia looks forward to contributing her expertise to advancing national animal health priorities and supporting collaboration across sectors.

Outside of work, Tia enjoys reading, hiking, camping, spending time outdoors, and connecting with nature.
