AHC News and Updates

In mid-October, the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) management team put their emergency management skills to the test in an Incident Command System (ICS) 200 course featuring a customized pilot Foot-and-Mouth Disease tabletop simulation exercise, with limited focus on roles and communication — a first of its kind in Canada’s livestock traceability sector. Special thanks to CCIA for joining forces with us to build the training exercise and to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for providing expert instructors with extensive hands-on experience in animal disease outbreak response.
