AHC News and Updates

Join the AHC Team: Executive Director

There are only a handful of positions where the incumbent directly influences Canada’s response to the most significant animal health and welfare challenges. The Executive Director, Animal Health Canada, is one of those.

Animal Health Canada is a not-for-profit corporation that brings together leaders from the public and private sectors to identify and address foreign animal disease, disease surveillance needs, antimicrobial resistance and farmed animal welfare.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished leader with significant experience in the livestock or poultry sectors. The ability to utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is an essential requirement.

The Executive Director integrates complex information to define a clear vision and strategy and develop the tactics required to ensure their effective implementation.
