Animal Health Canada has partnered with the Beef Cattle Research Council to offer two free webinars on Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) prevention.

The first one is January 15, 2025, 7 p.m. MT. It is geared towards beef producers to discuss the who, what, where and why of Foot and Mouth Disease and how it can directly impact beef cattle operations.

The second is held on February 12, 2025 at 7 p.m. MT. It will give veterinarians and veterinary teams practical advice on FMD and highlight the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s current regulations. It helps answer, What should you be looking for? What do you do in the event of an outbreak? How do you report it? What advice can you give to producers and how can you spot high-risk management systems?
