The fourth North American African Swine Fever (NA-ASF) Forum was held in Ottawa from September 17 to 19, 2024. This collaboration began in 2019 when Canada first hosted the event.
Since then, the United States, Mexico and Canada have co-hosted the forum, rotating its location among the three countries to continue to advance regional cooperation in the prevention and mitigation of the impact of ASF in the Americas.
This year's forum brought together government and industry leaders, and decision-makers to address the ongoing threat of ASF to the Americas.
Animal Health Canada was pleased to attend and present updates on the work taking place to finalize the ASF Emergency Communications Guide the falls under Pillar 4, Coordinated Risk Communications.
