Protecting Animals in hot weather during transport and at destination

Canadian Food Inspection Agency notification:

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency updated its web page on protecting animals during transport in hot and humid weather to emphasize the responsibilities of all parties involved in the transport process to take appropriate measures to protect all animals from the effects of extreme weather. Animals are at risk of suffering and death during hot and humid weather, especially when confined in a stationary vehicle with inadequate ventilation.
